Research
I am a visiting scholar in the Department of Sociology at Cornell University. I have been teaching Industrial Sociology, Work and Gender, Sociology of Education, Social Inequality, Quantitative Research Method at Chonbuk National University in Korea since 1991. My research interests focus primarily on the sociology of labor market. Some of my recent research topics are ???Job Polarization, Earnings Inequality, and Class Structure", ???Determining Factors of Job Transfer from non-standard work to standard work???, and "The expansion of 'non-standard jobs' and the occupational sex segregation".
