• Please create a folder in My Documents with your NetID or name, for your files. Files not in My Documents will be deleted!
• The My Documents folder is shared among all the computers in the lab. It is not secure! See the file "About PUBLIC on PAISLEY.txt" in My Documents for more information and full instructions.
• Please clean up after yourself, both physically and digitally.
• Eating and especially drinking are discouraged in the computer labs.
• If you are the last one out, please shut the door tightly.
• Looking for more software, hardware, or other computing resources? Consult the Sociology Computing Resources list.
• If you have a problem of any sort with the computers or printers:
  1. Don't panic.
  2. Try again and make sure you really have a problem.
  3. Don't panic.
  4. Check the page of common problems and their solutions.
  5. Gather the following information about the problem:
     • What are you doing to cause the problem? (Quite possibly nothing!)
     • What error messages or incorrect responses are you receiving?
     • Your NetId
     • Which computer or printer is giving you trouble
     • What your problem is, including what you did and what the computer did.
  6. Send the information to Marty.
